Covid-19 has changed a lot of things in all aspects. Life as we knew has ended for most of us. Despite such a drastic impact, there is still confusion about the virus itself. Considering all these things, life must go on. Most of us are tired of staying at home and not being able to attend events and festivals. We, humans, require social interactions in order to function well. Various studies have shown that when people are isolated, it often leads to depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.

Nevertheless, due to panic surrounding Covid-19, many people are hesitant about how to approach social events and festivals again. We can go about our lives in the most normal way possible in this capacity if we act sensibly and keep ourselves well informed. The precautions and safety measures have been set up for our well being. It would be in our best interest to follow the instructions of health organizations. At El-Domo, we are making sure that you enjoy our events and festivals in the safest way possible.

How Covid-19 Transmits

First things first, if we want to battle something, having reliable information is crucial. According to research on the ‘WHO’ official page, this virus spreads through direct contact and respiratory droplets. Besides that, people who are already infected may end up contaminating nearby objects or surfaces. Another way that Covid-19 can spread is if a person ends up touching their face with contaminated hands. To ensure safety, at El-Domo we are practicing social distancing and regular sanitization.

The Procedure for Organizing Events Post Covid-19

In order to arrange events or festivals keeping in mind the danger of the virus, it is important to understand the risks and limitations. Furthermore, it is imperative that one understands their role in identifying and minimizing those risks. Secondly, understanding the potential threat of the impact of Covid-19 and using the opportunities available to reduce those threats is an important part of event management. Thirdly, creating a pre-event checklist to ensure that you are well prepared for all possible outcomes would be a wise step. For instance, communicating all the precautions and safety measures to the organizers, staff, and people attending the event.

At El-Domo, the organizers and staff make sure that they protect you and your loved ones by following all the necessary precautions and safety measures.

Safety Measures and Precautions

Some of the most important measures anyone holding an event needs to take include: keeping track of basic information of all attendees; where they are coming from, what mode of transport they are using and configuring parking areas to ensure social distancing. Our people are well-versed in all the safety measures and are diligently ensuring that everyone inside the venue is following these precautions.

Wearing face masks should be compulsory at all times. Covid-19 usually spreads when an affected person sneezes or coughs or by touch alone. Sometimes even their breath can cause the droplets to stay in the air and transmit. Attendees should be informed of all the precautions beforehand in order to ease their minds. If someone forgets to wear a face mask, spare ones should be available at the entrance. This can be used as a branding opportunity as well. At El-Domo we have made certain that there are plenty of face masks and sanitizers available.

Staff and guests should have their temperature checked at the entrance to ensure that no one is affected. There should be various points available with hand sanitizers so that staff and guests can make sure they are sanitizing their hands at regular intervals. At El-Domo we have trained staff to make sure that every guest is checked for temperature and any other symptoms.

There should be a limit to how many people can be around in one area at a time such as restrooms and elevators. Make sure that the washrooms have regular sanitization after every few guests. Elevators and washrooms should also follow the protocol of social distancing. Room setups should have a distance of about 6 feet between tables and stalls. There should also be a safe distance between the exit and entry points to avoid any issues later on. El-Domo organizers allow only a certain number of people at any one time keeping in mind the social distance policies and health hygiene.

Emails can be sent with details of the precaution, causes, and safety measures regarding Covid-19. This would help people understand how to behave once inside the venue. Moreover, they would know how to avoid doing things that may result in the spread of Coronavirus.

Following Up After the Event

In order to make certain that we can resume our lives and attend events easily, it would be ideal to have data from the guests and staff in case an outbreak occurs. In that case, it would be easy to monitor the damage and control the situation. El-Domo is trying to create a safe space for you and your loved ones. We have been making sure that we follow all the mentioned steps and safety measures to provide you with the utmost joy in the current times.

All of us have to ensure that we play our part best to our understanding and capacity so that we can go back to our normal lives as efficiently as possible. In order to do so, it would be ideal to do a bit of research on your own and understand the situation. It is also important to only trust reliable sources of information and not give in to the controversial stories surrounding the pandemic. Controversial theories often take our eyes off the main objective which is to protect ourselves and our loved ones.
